Miriam lives in Madison, AL with her husband, Tim. they have been married for 25 years. Tim is an engineer and works for NASA.
During their early 30′s they were told that as a couple they would not be able to have children. At the time of the news, they were heavily involved with the church youth group program and that seemed to fill the void. Then when Miriam reached the age of 40, they stopped serving in the youth program and did not get involved with another ministry. The emptiness of not being a mother started to hit home. As a result, Miriam decided to go on a self discovery journey. Growing up as a child, Miriam heard that God had a plan for her life, so the question journaled day after day was, “Lord, if you don’t want me to be a mom, then what am I supposed to do?” As she asked this question, she continued with her career as a CPA. All was well with her career and she was recruited to become a Vice President of Finance for a local government contractor. Thinking this is it – this is where God wants me to be – she settled in to her new role. However, even as a VP of Finance, something was missing and she continued on her journey to find that missing piece.
A few of the things that came out of her journaling were a desire to teach, to coach, and to encourage. As a result, she wrote a course for the employees while she was the VP of Finance called: “Way to Wealth.” The course was intended to teach cash management skills. This really struck a cord with Miriam. Now her gifting of teaching was coming into fruition. At the same time, her church asked her to teach the ladies Bible class, and once again, the gifting of teaching was revealed to her.
She was introduced to life coaching through a book and said to herself, “This is it, this is what I want to do!” She received training on how to be a life coach. Now God has opened the door of opportunity and her desire and passion to be a life coach has become a reality. Miriam desires to coach women to THEIR full potential, to coach them to be the person God created, to coach them to realize their true gifting.
Miriam also enjoys time at the beach and painting with water color.
